Meet Kieran Macarty

Over 18 years, Kieran has had the pleasure of stringing at multiple professional tournaments including Roehampton G1, Wimbledon Junior Qualifiers, Queens Club, Surbiton Trophy, and various 25k/50k events at the National Tennis Centre.

This experience has given him an in-depth knowledge of how the professionals - both juniors and adults - like their rackets strung. Some are very particular about stringing patterns, machine clamp tension, or even how their stencil is painted. All these details can make a huge difference in any player's game.

Kieran was a top national junior player from U10, before making the bold decision to completely rebuild his game. After taking time to develop confidence in his new playing style, he went on to study at the University of Stirling on a tennis scholarship, achieving a doubles world ranking of 578.

This journey - experiencing both setbacks and success at the highest junior and collegiate levels - gives Kieran invaluable insight into what it takes to develop as a player, both technically and mentally.
